Welcome to AI Digital Twin Lab at Dong-A University. Our lab is dedicated to cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on deep learning, computer vision, and digital twin technologies. Our work addresses both theoretical advancements and practical applications, aiming to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world challenges.
We actively explore emerging trends in AI and foster an interdisciplinary environment that encourages collaboration among students, researchers, and industry partners. Supported by advanced computing infrastructure and guided by experienced faculty, the lab strives to push the boundaries of innovation in AI-driven modeling, simulation, and intelligent systems.

동아대학교, EU ‘호라이즌 유럽’ 국제 공동연구 과제 선정
동아대학교 AI·디지털트윈·SW 실증센터가 유럽연합(EU)의 최대 연구혁신 프로그램인 ‘호라이즌 유럽(Horizon Europe)’ 국제 공동연구 과제에 선정되며, 국내 대학으로서는 드물게 다자간 국제 연구 프로젝트를 주도하는 성과를 거두었다. 동아대학교는 ‘에너지빌더(EnergyBuilder)’ 프로젝트의 국내 주관 기관으로서, 건물의 설계 및 운영 단계에서 에너지 효율을 극대화하는 디지털 트윈 기반 에너지 최적화 플랫폼을 개발할 예정이다. 본 과제는 EU의 친환경 에너지 전환 전략의 일환으로, 인공지능과 디지털 트윈, 가상발전소 기술을 활용해 건물을 에너지를 생산·저장·거래하는 ‘프로슈머’로 전환하는 것을 목표로 한다. 향후 부산 에코델타 스마트빌리지를 비롯한 유럽 내 리빙랩에서 실증이 진행되며, 이를 통해 동아대학교의 기술력과 국제 연구 경쟁력이 한층 강화될 것으로 기대된다.
동아대-부산시, ‘2025 SW 지산학 썸머 페스티벌’ 개최
동아대학교 소프트웨어혁신센터는 부산광역시와 함께, 과기정통부 및 정보통신기획평가원이 지원하는 ‘SW 중심대학 사업’의 일환으로 2025 SW 지산학 썸머 페스티벌을 8월 20일부터 22일까지 BEXCO 컨벤션홀에서 개최했다. 이 행사에는 전국 대학생 대상 소프트웨어 성과 공유 포럼, 의료 AI·SW 융합 해커톤 ‘CODE MEDI’, 중등 교사 대상 AI·SW 연수 프로그램, 지자체 협력형 스마트시티·디지털트윈 전문가 교육 등 4개 핵심 프로그램이 포함됐다.
MITA 2025 - Best Student Paper Award
Researcher Jo Young-Hoon won the Best Student Paper Award at the 2025 MITA conference for his outstanding research on Point Cloud Preprocessing 3D Gaussian Splatting Initialization Method. His work was recognized for its innovative approach and significant contributions to the field.
스마트시티 - AI 융합 전략 포럼
에코델타시티 스마트시티 랩은 2025년 7월 15일 부산 에코델타시티 스마트시티 랩에서 개최된 '스마트시티 - AI 융합 전략 포럼'에 참여했습니다. 이 포럼은 스마트시티와 AI 기술의 융합을 통해 도시 문제를 해결하고 지속 가능한 발전을 도모하기 위한 자리로, 다양한 전문가들과의 논의가 이루어졌습니다.
동아대, 과기정통부 ‘디지털 콜럼버스 프로젝트’ 선정
동아대학교가 과학기술정보통신부 주관 ‘디지털 콜럼버스 프로젝트’ 재난안전 분야에 선정되어, 오는 2032년까지 8년간 약 34억 원의 연구비를 지원받아 AI·디지털트윈 기반의 복합재난 예측 및 예방 기술을 개발합니다. 옥수열 교수의 인솔 아래 AI·디지털트윈·SW실증센터와 ESG지역혁신연구소는 스마트시티, 산업단지, 해안복합도시 등 다양한 환경에 적용할 수 있는 자율·실시간 복합재난 대응 플랫폼을 구축해, 국내외 재난안전 관리의 글로벌 리더로 도약하고자 합니다.
